Today we have an amazing guest speaker with us, Amy Butler. Amy is multi-dimensional. She is a wife, a mother, an Arbonne consultant, an academic language therapist and is here to talk to us about a world that she was suddenly introduced to when her now 21 year old son was in only 2nd grade. Dyslexia. Dyslexia is a learning disability which affects skills involved in reading, spelling and writing. Now although children with this condition have normal intelligence and normal vision there is still so much gray area within the disorder. Amy is here to open up about her struggles as a mother and what changes she would like to see in the school system.
Can you tell us a little bit about what you were doing before you found our your son was dyslexic?

How does someone come to be dyslexic?
What are some mistakes parents make when communicating with their dyslexic children? What would you suggest instead?
