Are You Too Sensitive?
Many times as empaths we hear things from the people closest to us that we are 'too sensitive' or 'that is something wrong with you' This is simple not true! Be careful, because these shaming messages are limiting beliefs that you may have adopted. It is important to realize that you need to value your sensitive side and others need to respect your sensitive side. Your empathy is your strength. Work on building your confidence and your self-esteem by changing your internal self-talk to positive affirmations about your strength and your power. As the weeks and months go by you will begin to see a shift in your ability to be able to control your environment and your emotions more fluidly. Really focus on the positive traits that you have as an empath, do not allow yourself to be walked all over, abused or used. Learn to stand up for yourself and learn to cherish your time and energy more!
